The Warehouse Operator plays a key role in the efficient operation of warehouse activities including dispatch, receiving, and logistics. This position ensures the accurate movement of goods and timely delivery to customers, while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and compliance.
Your key responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of goods within the warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
- Accurately label and document all goods (raw materials, finished goods, staging area).
- Handle materials including raw materials, oils, packaging, and finished goods.
- Operate and maintain forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Clean manual handling equipment weekly (forklifts, VNA trucks, order pickers, electric pallet trucks).
- Complete in-process records and ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and GMP standards.
- Reconcile material handling records and update SAP systems for tracking and reporting.
- Safely load and unload trucks and manage materials.
- Collect samples and assist in stock management.
- Support logistics operations including packaging, storing, and transporting goods.
- Perform cycle counts and update SAP systems accordingly.
- Liaise with Planning and T&D teams to ensure required stock movements are completed safely and efficiently.

You bring:
- GCSEs or equivalent.
- Valid UK forklift license and experience operating warehouse machinery.
- Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Understanding of emergency procedures and risk assessments.
- Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or automation industries.
- Strong IT skills, including Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- SAP experience preferred. Understanding of emergency procedures and risk assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective time management and adaptability.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibly.
- SAP knowledge or similar warehouse management systems.
