We want an inspirational leader to be responsible for leading and managing the core tonality teams within the Taste division of Taste, Texture & Health. This global leadership role is accountable to ensure our core tonality strategies, enable a sustainable competitive advantage for the commercial regions/Key Global Accounts and full end-to-end management of vanilla and citrus. In addition to leading the overall tonality organization, this role will have primary accountability for the citrus tonality.

Your key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive core tonality strategies that align with the growth plan and “must win” commercial battles.
- Lead and manage the core tonality team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Collaborate with peers in the Global Portfolio & Naturals team, as well as Regions and GKAs, SBUs, Innovation, Operations, Procurement, and GRS to ensure the successful execution of tonality must win battles. Provide support to Regions and KGAs for strategically critical client projects, ensuring utilization of market competitive solutions.
- Monitor competitive activity in core tonalities and market trends to identify risks and opportunities in tonality.
- Ensure active management of core tonality palette and portfolio, utilizing life cycle processes owned by the Portfolio Team.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
The salary scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and primary work location. Salary $199,800-$250,000.

You bring
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business leadership roles in the consumer market specialty ingredients space. Expertise in flavor or fragrance with an understanding of the value chain from palette to solutions is highly preferred.
- Track record of strong, visible leadership by influence, successful team management, and ability to foster a collaborative work environment
- Proven track record of driving sustainable, profitable growth
- Demonstrated success in navigating complex value chains, with an end-to-end understanding of business drivers, from suppliers through to clients
- Ability to build productive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
