We are #hiring for VP, Regional Sales Ingredient Solutions, North America. This leadership position will drive the growth of ingredient solutions through strong customer relationships and a customer-centric approach. You will collaborate with global segment teams and colleagues in our Taste solutions to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.  You’ll manage a high-performing team of segment sales directors, inside sales and a commercial team. Your key responsibilities

 

  • Financial accountability: Delivery of annual budget, sales revenue, gross margin and commercial margin
  • Leadership: Leader of the Ingredient Solutions North America (ISOL NAM) Leadership Team

and member of the Taste, Texture & Health Regional Leadership Team

  • Clients: Bring established relationships relevant to the business and building and developing in-depth customers relationships with key accounts and distributors
  • Team: Coach, lead and develop an experienced team of regional sales directors, Account Managers and commercial support
  • Commercial: Develop, deploy and drive the commercial strategy for ISOL NAM and collaborate to extend into the region the relevant Ingredient Solutions global strategies
  • Project: Teamwork and effectiveness with regular project meetings across creation, application, business development and commercial teams to prioritize and allocate resources

 

The expected level of travel for this position will be minimum 40% within the US.

You bring:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience with measurable track records in the ingredients/food/health industry as a sales leader with extensive experience in managing complex businesses with revenue of at least $150m required
  • Existing deep industry relationships and a strong relationship building skill set; technical background in food science is highly positive
  • Customer centricity along with excellent commercial background and demonstrated strategic and growth experience
  • Strong people management skills, ability to coach and develop a team
  • Solid experience in managing and delivering projects across the value chain
  • Bachelor’s degree required

 

The salary scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and primary work location. Salary $224,200-$260,000.

 

In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
