Trainee Data Management

Animal Nutrition and Health focuses on improving animal productivity and welfare through optimal nutrition. As a data‑review intern, you help ensure experimental data for our products is complete, accurate, and trustworthy. Your work unlocks new insights and maximizes data reuse. By maintaining tidy, high‑quality data, you help reduce the need for additional animal experiments and support more sustainable research.

Your key responsibilities
- Review existing animal trial datasets to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency in line with internal standards
- Identify data quality issues and work with scientists and data managers to support clarification, correction, and documentation
- Contribute to the improvement of data dictionaries, helping define and refine variables, terminology, and metadata used across animal trials
- Support the maintenance and updating of SOPs related to experimental procedures and data handling
You bring
- A background or strong interest in animal sciences, such as animal husbandry, veterinary sciences, animal nutrition, or a related life‑science field
- Experience in data handling, analysis, or documentation isconsidered a plus — but not required
- Strong ownership and self‑organization, with the ability to manage tasks independently while knowing when to ask questions
- A structured, methodical mindset, comfortable working with standards, guidelines, and repeatable processes

- We are legally obliged to inform you that, according to the applicable collective agreement, the salary for this position is €2,090 gross per month.
