Trainee Controlling RCB EUR

Controlling Internship (2 months) 

Objective: Support the Controlling department in monitoring financial performance, producing analyses, and improving management tools. 

Main Responsibilities 

1. Revenue and Margin Analysis 

Extract and consolidate sales data (weekly / monthly). 

Analyze revenue trends by market, cluster, product segment, and customer. 

Analyze gross margin (volume/mix effects, price, etc.). 

Prepare concise commentary for internal meetings. 

2. Creation and Improvement of Reporting Tools 

Design cost dashboards (Travel, etc.). 

Update and automate existing Excel/Power BI files. 

3. Participation in the Monthly Closing Process 

Prepare and verify cut‑off entries (accruals, simple provisions). 

Perform consistency checks between accounting and analytical data. 

Assist in preparing closing materials (slides, variance summaries). 

4. Basic Variance Analysis (budget vs. actual) 

Identify the main drivers behind variances.
