Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Premix)

Tonganoxie, KS

Monday – Friday (8am -5pm) 

 

 

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at our Brand New (Premix) Animal Nutrition and Health location in Tonganoxie, KS, you will be responsible for managing shipping and receiving documentation, including processing paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments. You will also support logistics operations by performing post goods issues for inbound materials, ensuring accurate inventory records. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate documentation and supporting the efficiency of the shipping and receiving process.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage all shipping and receiving paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
  • Perform post goods issues for inbound materials, updating inventory records to reflect accurate stock levels.
  • Maintain organized records for all shipments to support compliance and tracking.
  • Perform core Warehouse Operator duties as needed, including loading and unloading materials and products.
  • Label shipments accurately by applying PCS stickers, following labeling requirements.
  • Assist with sampling activities as part of quality control and inventory management processes.
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory records by documenting shipments and stock changes.
  • Support the warehouse team in identifying discrepancies in inventory levels and coordinating with relevant personnel to resolve issues.

Must be able to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as production demand requires including call-ins  

 

You bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with documentation and inventory systems is a plus.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, required.
  • Effective communication skills for coordination with team members and other departments.
