As a Quality & Operational Excellence Manager at our new Animal Nutrition and Health Tonganoxie, KS location, you will implement, support and maintain compliance to Global ANH Quality & Operational Excellence Standards at a local level defined to include, but not be limited to: GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HAACP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), ISO 9000 (Quality Management Systems), FAMI-QS (Quality and Safety Modernization Act in the US), Corporate dsm-firmenich requirements (e.g. SHE, Security, Manufacturing, etc.) and Customer specific requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and support for the fulfillment of corporate directives and management requirements as set out by Global ANH at the local level to ensure sustainability of site compliance.
  • Local champion for DNP ANH Quality & Operational Excellence and included program initiatives.
  • Management of local quality support staff.
  • Management of ANH/NA Operations Management System controlled documentation including the creation, collaboration, and control of local controlled documentation (e.g., SOP’s, WI’s, and Forms).
  • ANH/NA resource expert in TrackWise.
  • Maintenance of HACCP Plans, which are to be reviewed and updated at a minimum once annually.

You bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience in Manufacturing.
  • 5 years of Quality experience, intimate knowledge of quality systems, preferably within Manufacturing, Operations or feed/food industry.
  • Knowledge in powder technology, premix or feed compounding preferred.
  • Highly developed organizational skills and ability to document effectively and efficiently.
  • Experience in quality systems management; assessment and implementation of quality systems are desirable (ISO 9001/GMP/HACCP/FAMI-QS/FSMA/SHE/Security).
  • Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Lean and Six Sigma a plus.
