As a Technician/Senior Technician, Utilities, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our site’s utility systems, including chillers, boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, well systems, refrigeration, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will help prevent downtime, optimize performance, and keep our operations running at peak efficiency.
Your key responsibilities
- Perform daily rounds and monitor all site utility systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become problems.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of utility systems.
- Keep accurate records and generate reports to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.
- Recommend energy-efficient solutions to reduce costs and improve sustainability.

You bring
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with utility systems to include Chillers, boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, Well systems, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain Universal EPA Certification within one year.
- Ability to work on-call and overtime as needed.
- General Grounds & Facility maintenance.

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly rate $25-$35.
