Technician Maintenance, 2nd shift

Location: Exton, PA

Monday - Friday  3:30PM -12AM

 

The Technician Maintenance can be called upon to perform any and all duties consistent with assuring that dsm-firmenich products are of consistent and high quality by: Assuming responsibility for set-up, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing tooling and their related equipment while maintaining a clean, secure and a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive Training, Instruction and Guidance in the proper Installation, set up, repair, and maintenance of new and existing manufacturing tooling and equipment.
  • Complete PM’s, Work Request, and data entry in CMMS (Blue Mountain) program.
  • Assist in working with manufacturing personnel to trouble shoot manufacturing process problems.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineering as required.
  • Assist with general facility issues relating to plumbing, HVAC and electrical services to maintain proper working conditions.
  • Receive Training, Instruction and Guidance in the proper maintenance of non-production equipment, which supports production.
  • Receive Training, Instruction and Guidance to gain a working knowledge of Facility BAS system.
  • Receive Training, Instruction and Guidance to organize and maintain spare parts inventory for completing timely repairs on all equipment.
  • Provide management with periodic reports.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.

Some OT is required. On call rotations are 2-week periods that happen every 7-8 weeks. May be required to start earlier than normal shift hours.

 

You bring:

  • High school graduate; Technical or Trade Schooling preferred
  • GMP knowledge desired
  • 2 years’ + experience in a similar position preferred. Medical Device manufacturing or GMP related industry. 
  • Read and understand schematics.
  • Working knowledge of various power & hand tools; wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
  • Working knowledge of  scope & usage of General Work Permitting Procedures and Processes.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical & HVAC systems.
  • Working knowledge of various power & hand tools; wrenches, sockets,  screwdrivers, pliers etc.
  • Proficient  in the use of MS Office, Word and Excel.

 

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly - $25.00 - $27.00
