Technical Species Expert - Swine

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) Reporting to the Business Development Manager Nordics, your role will cover customer support in the Nordics region (Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland) and will have close contact with our Sales & Premix production sites in the UK, Belgium and Netherlands. This role can work on a remote basis including travel, but preferably based in the Nordic office in Brøndby, Denmark.

 

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Supporting the execution of the swine strategy for Animal, Nutrition & Health with special focus on Performance Solutions in the Nordics
  • Planning and execution of all local field trials
  • Planning and execution of early customer engagement trials and to ensure close collaboration with Global Innovation in trial development, data and customer experience
  • Local product and species training to Account managers
  • Co-responsible for planning and execution of Performance Solutions Sales strategy
  • Collaborates closely with Account Managers and swine specialist peers in Northern Europe
  • Travel 60 days per year within Nordics and EMEA including periods away from home will be expected

You bring

  • Commercially minded nutrition or health specialist with swine experience; feed formulation exposure is a plus
  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years in the feed or premix industry or within a commercial / nutritional / health function
  • Strong organization, creativity, drive, and enthusiasm; proactive and flexible with a solid work ethic
  • A people person and genuine team player who collaborates well across sales, technical, and R&D
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills; fluency in a Nordic language is an advantage.
  • Keen to develop market knowledge in animal nutrition & health and turn insights into customer value.
