Technical Service Manager, Hydrocolloids, ISOL, NAM

The Technical Service Manager, Hydrocolloids, will provide expert technical support to our customers and sales managers. In partnership with our Global and Regional Application teams and our Global Segment teams, the TSM will contribute to grow our share of market across our hydrocolloid portfolio. This position will work with regional NAM ISOL sales teams and global ISOL segment teams across multiple industries such as Fresh Dairy, Cheese, Dairy alternatives, Baking, Confectionery, and Beverages, and will bridge customer-facing technical expertise with strategic business growth in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Fresh Dairy, Cheese, Dairy alternatives, Baking, Confectionery, and Beverages industries by building and maintaining relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
Provide technical support and formulation guidance to customers utilizing hydrocolloids (Gellan Gum, Pectin, Citrus Fibres, Blends).
Troubleshoot application issues and propose product solutions based on performance requirements.
Conduct lab-scale trials, demonstrations, training, and on-site technical support for customers and distributors, including best practices, product use, and industry developments.
Stay sharp and trained about our portfolio and launches with the global Segment Teams and the Global/Regional Application teams.
Organize, lead, or support small-scale and full-scale trials for validation of new products or recipe changes, ensuring proper documentation and technical reporting. Through external and internal trials, interpret data and trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, technical support activities, and project progress.
Monitor competitive and customer technical developments; as well as texture trends across the food and beverage industry and proactively recommend improvements or innovations.
As required, collaborate with our Global Innovation team and our Global Segment teams to align product development with market needs.
Attend industry events, technical meetings, and conferences as a subject matter expert.

You Bring:

Education Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
Knowledge of and experience in application of Hydrocolloids in food and beverages
Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Good networking skills and proven stake holder management skills
Ability to travel >65%, domestic (US and Canada)
Ability to travel occasionally internationally for training and other purposes
