We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager (TSM) to support the growth of our Baking, Confectionery, and Ingredient Processing (BCIP) segment in Turkey and selected AMET markets. This role is critical to strengthening our front-line engagement with key clients, enabling technical support, and driving commercial execution with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Execution
- Manage day-to-day sales and customer activities for BCIP accounts across Turkey and AMET support countries.
- Build strong relationships with customers and distributors, understand their needs, and translate them into solutions.
- Support customer project pipeline and follow up on trials and innovation launches.
Technical Support & Application Insight
- Act as the technical interface between the customer and dsm-firmenich internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with Application Specialists and Regulatory to ensure appropriate product selection, testing, and documentation.
- Provide on-site technical support and coordinate sampling, trials, and customer training sessions.
Market Intelligence & Customer Development
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and share market insights with regional teams.
- Support the deployment of technical content and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Account Manager and Marketing.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the Senior Account Manager and regional teams to execute the segment strategy and sales plans.
- Support forecasting, demand planning, and pricing input based on market and customer feedback.

You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, ideally within food ingredients (enzymes, hydrocolloids, vitamins, or related BCIP applications).
- A balance of commercial and technical acumen, ensuring that solutions are both scientifically sound and commercially viable.
- Confidence in your expertise, combined with the ability to engage with customers and collaborate effectively with different partners.
- Fluent in both Turkish and English languages at business level.
- Availability and willingness to travel across Turkey and AMET countries regularly.
