Supply Planning Analyst

Job Title: Planning Analyst

City: Cotia, SP

 

As a Supply Planning Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Planning Coordinator LATAM in managing facilities and processes across a diverse portfolio of products and stakeholders in the LATAM region. You will oversee product availability and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Sales, Logistics, Foreign Trade, Customer Service, and Warehouse, to ensure seamless supply. This role reports into one of DSM-Firmenich’s Taste, Texture & Health ISOL Business Units, while also providing support to all Business Units.

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Determines the planned inventory levels for the coming months based on previously agreed inventory plans, demand plan, agreed service levels and the supply strategy with 18 months.
  • Creates and adjusts the inventory, replenishment, supply on the midterm horizon.
  • Ensures timely delivery and consolidation of accurate supply planning data and present recommendations for the Sales & Operations Planning meeting.
  • Optionally supports S&OP supply meetings for the region with Account managers, Forecast Analyst and Planner at the plants.
  • Negotiate with origin the product that is close to expire, to check the alternative to re-validate and also take care of slow and no moving materials. Manage these KPI´s
  • Be in contact with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service and origin to make sure the stock will be available. also, follow up import order and sales in order to monitor stocks level.

 

You Bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, engineering, logistics, economics or related fields.
  • Fluency in English | good knowledge in Spanish.
  • Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
  • Power BI knowledge.
  • Analytical, critical thinking and detail oriented. Organizational skills with the ability to handle priorities and deadlines.
