As a Supervisor (Mechanical) in our maintenance department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the mechanical maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of mechanical equipment and systems. This role supports production operations by overseeing troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, and installations of equipment such as pumps, conveyors, piping, and other rotating and stationary assets, while driving continuous improvement in reliability and safety performance.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision
- Provide daily directions, support, and oversight to the mechanical maintenance team.
- Ensure proper staffing, training, and performance management for mechanical personnel.
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Maintenance Execution
- Lead the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks related to mechanical systems and equipment (pumps, gearboxes, piping systems, conveyors, HVAC equipment, etc.).
- Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with planning and scheduling to optimize labor and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Support
- Serve as a site-level expert in mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Provide hands-on support for complex issues involving pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, piping systems, sealing systems, etc.
- Support root cause analysis for equipment failures.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI), OSHA requirements, and site-specific safety standards.
- Maintain alignment, lubrication, and inspection records for all critical mechanical equipment and devices.
- Support regulatory audits and inspections.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements in mechanical reliability, asset health, and maintenance practices.
- Participate in capital projects and commissioning new equipment.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with reliability, operations, engineering, and planning teams to ensure aligned maintenance priorities.
- Communicate effectively across shifts and departments to ensure continuity.

You bring:
- Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical technology, or related field (experience may substitute)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance roles
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills are required and a strong working knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, piping systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Experience with reliability tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, precision alignment, and lubrication management
- SAP Plant Maintenance and CMMS proficiency is preferred and familiarity with ASME, ANSI, OSHA, and relevant mechanical standards as well as UNITE X and TrackWise systems
