We are currently looking for a Quality Control summer intern at our Plainsboro, NJ office.

The 2026 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will run from June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Your key responsibilities

Support data collection and analysis for quality metrics.
Participate in audits and compliance checks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives, projects implementation.
Assist in reviewing and updating quality documentation and SOPs.

You Bring

Currently working on completion of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field.
Candidates must be available to work full-time on-site beginning on June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and identify trends.
Attention to detail with ability to spot deviations or defects in processes.
Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration across functions.

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation will be dependent on factors that include location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.

At the end of this internship, you will:

have strengthened your expertise in quality systems by mastering data analysis, supporting audits, collaborating on process improvements, and updating critical documentation to ensure compliance.
