We are currently looking for a Summer Intern, Materials Planning at our Plainsboro, NJ office.
The 2025 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will begin June 9th, 2025 and run through August 14, 2025
Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday (37.5 / 40 hours per week)

Your key responsibilities
- Pulling and sending monthly forecasts to suppliers.
- Supporting the Planners with ad-hoc projects as requested.
- Assist Materials Planners by participating in the proactive rebirth process.
- Follow up on purchase order (PO) confirmations and on past due purchase orders.
- Create packaging POs.
- Ensure adherence to DEMS rules and confirm compliance.

You Bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
- Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 9, 2025 – August 14, 2025
