Sr. Manager Data & AI Tech AI/ML

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Platform Tech Lead to architect, build, and scale next-generation AI/ML infrastructure. This role requires a balance of deep technical expertise and leadership ability to guide cross-functional teams in delivering robust, cost-efficient, and production-ready AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in cloud-native architectures, container orchestration, and ML pipelines — with a strong grasp of emerging trends in agentic AI systems.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based AI/ML platforms (Azure or AWS) to support model training, deployment, and inference at scale.
  • Architect and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, training, validation, and production deployment.
  • Implement and optimize agentic AI frameworks and workflows for advanced autonomous decision-making and orchestration.
  • Drive DevOps and MLOps best practices, including CI/CD for ML models, monitoring, observability, and rollback strategies.
  • Manage Kubernetes-based deployments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of AI/ML services.
  • Define and enforce cost-optimization strategies for compute, storage, and model-serving infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI platform solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.

You bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering with a focus on cloud-native environments (AWS or Azure).
  • Proven track record in designing and operating AI/ML infrastructure supporting model training and large-scale inference.
  • Strong expertise with Kubernetes and containerized workloads in production.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML/AI systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of agentic AI concepts and frameworks, with practical implementation experience.
  • Strong background in infrastructure cost management and optimization within cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
