Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and collaborative Lead for our Data Modeling Team to drive the design and implementation of domain and enterprise data models based on Data Vault principles. The successful candidate will ensure best practices in data modeling are followed, promote consistency and scalability, and work closely with data engineering to deploy robust, business-ready solutions
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data modelers, ensuring adherence to Data Vault 2.0 principles and data modeling best practices.
- Guide collaboration of the modelers with subject matter experts and product owners to define and refine business conceptual models.Facilitate workshops and effectively communicate business models to key stakeholders.
- Oversee the translation of business models into logical and technical data models.
- Ensure alignment of models with technology constraints by working closely with data engineers.
- Coordinate the data modelers efforts with visualization experts to deliver models that meet reporting and analytics needs.
- Establish modeling standards and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

You bring:
- Proven experience leading data modeling teams in an enterprise environment.
- Deep expertise in Data Vault 2.0 modeling, including hubs, links, and satellites.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, business intelligence, and analytics requirements.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and visualization experts.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with automated data modeling and ETL tools.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
