Onsite - Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay: $26 - $32/hour

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided.

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible to ensure that facility and all its production equipment are kept in good working condition at one of dsm-firmenich’s largest premix plants globally.

Responsibilities:

Willing to work Saturdays to complete maintenance tasks that can't be completed during production, holidays and for small shutdowns completed in July. Experience in manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician.
On call 24 hours and weekends
Plumbing and minor electrical
Preventative maintenance including all documentation and record keeping
Exterior building maintenance
Assist all departments in repairs
Experience in root-cause analysis
Analyze and Troubleshoot repair of all equipment
Always displays and promotes positive safety behaviors; uses proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment, and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area comply with the safety directives and keep the area neat and clean.
Participates in SHE/GMP training meetings

You bring:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge and skills to operate a personal computer and computer driven controls systems.
Requires at least 1-3 years’ experience working in a production environment.
Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
Flexibility on schedule due to on call rotation.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of duties in the assigned work area.
