We’re looking for a driven and experienced:

 

Sr Supervisor Dayshift Leader

 

to join our team in Dalry, supporting our Vitamin B5 and Vitamin C production plants.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Effective management of the shift team currently comprising of Working Supervisor, Control Room Operator, Field Technicians/Operators and Material Handlers including competence assessment, training needs analysis and development of all operations personnel within jurisdiction.
  • Management of the Vit C or Vit B5 manufacturing process and Operational Support (Utilities/WWTP) ensuring that key operating parameters are maintained within optimised limits.
  • Ensuring the manufacture of product in line with agreed article plans within agreed KPI’s for SHEQ, cost, yield & supply.
  • Adherence to strict safety and environmental standards.
  • Adopting the role of incident or site controller in the event of an incident.
  • Implementing SHE and HR policies, administrative and organizational duties.
  • Issuing of Risk Assessed Permit to Work and Hot Work permits to support business needs.

You Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant industrial supervisory experience, or a degree in chemistry or engineering with several years of supervisory experience.
  • Willingness to pursue further education depending on experience.
  • Inspirational leadership aligned with dsm-firmenich values.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record in problem solving and decision making.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and actively contribute to team results.
