Sr Expert SC S&OP and Supply Operations (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dedicated and solution-oriented Sr Expert SC S&OP and Supply Operations (m/f/d) to manage and optimize inventory and supply chain processes at our Global Distribution Centre (GDC) in Venlo. In this role, you will ensure smooth operations, manage complex supply flows, and support business continuity through effective planning and coordination.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage replenishment requirements for production sites and external vendors, ensuring uninterrupted supply in line with DSM/DNP standards.
- Address short-term supply issues and execute the Global Allocation process in coordination with Commercial Management and Global Supply Management.
- Monitor, maintain, and improve inventory levels, batch statuses, and logistical flows, including direct shipments.
- Ensure compliance with management directives, legal regulations, SHE requirements, and ERP processes (SAP/R3, SAP/APO).
- Serve as the primary contact for GDC departments, production sites, external vendors, and regions regarding product availability, quality, and logistical issues.
- Coordinate returns, re-labeling, destruction processes, and tolling site replenishments.
- Support supply chain and system improvement projects, including WMS replacement and process optimization initiatives.

You bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (APICS-CPIM certification is a plus).
- Professional experience (>5 years) in distribution or inventory management within an international environment, preferably ERP-supported (SAP/R3, SAP/APO).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, demand & supply planning, and logistics.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch, German, French, or Spanish are a plus).
- Solution-oriented, independent, and precise working style with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a complex, fast-changing environment.
