A great maintenance, repair, and operations specialist that places safety first. The MRO Specialist is well versed in mechanical and electrical maintenance with knowledge of troubleshooting of spare parts inventory, investigating breakdown repair parts needed and can work as a team player with different sets of skills.

Your key responsibilities:
- Ensure inventory accuracy rates of 98% or above through completion of the daily cycle count program including physical counts, data entry, and reporting. Develop Inventory database in CMMS (E-Maintenance) and maintain the CMMS (E-Maintenance) database to ensure all parts are in inventory with the proper quantities.
- Manage the technical and analytical oversight of the site’s spare parts program and MRO system, focusing on improving processes and ensuring operational efficiency and provide regular updates on spare parts management, including customer feedback and performance analysis. Work with the Engineering and Maintenance Lead to evaluate which spare parts to maintain in inventory based on the critical equipment assessment.
- Support the tracking and documentation of financial costs and KPIs (such as cycle count accuracy, inventory turns, stock-outs, and inventory value) related to the storeroom spare parts vendor.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to spare parts availability, aiming to improve inventory accuracy and reduce downtime. Analyse spare parts usage data to assist in creating solutions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of spare parts management.
- Track spare parts consumption and work with vendors to ensure timely replenishment to meet operational needs. Assist in managing processes for handling parts obsolescence by updating and cleaning up data for non-critical spares, obsolete components, and long-lead time items.
- Work with the Maintenance Lead/Planner on gathering quotes for all parts needed to repair equipment. When parts arrive, inspect them, receive in, label them, and place them properly into stock. Support Maintenance Technicians with emergency equipment breakdown repairs. Manage purchase orders for maintenance, building utilities and equipment certifications including annual purchase orders.

You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or 5-10 years in maintenance is preferred.
- Alternatively, an associate degree or certificate in a relevant field with significant experience in Maintenance, Repair and Operations or inventory management may be considered.
- Certification in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain management is a plus.
