As a Specialist within our Logistics team, you will be responsible for the physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, planning, staging, distribution and follow-up of raw materials, and finished product, as well as parts, supplies and equipment. You will manage all material movements between on and off-site warehouses and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy in accordance with Key Performance measures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety / regulatory requirements, and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for raw/packaging material planning, and management of materials until they arrive at the plant, which includes follow up on Purchase Requisition (PREQ), purchase orders being placed, confirmation of purchase orders, Stock Transfer Orders (STO), and material arrival in time for Quality Control (QC) release and production requirements.
  • Coordinates movement of materials to and from outside warehouses based on production schedule to ensure that a sufficient supply meets production demands.
  • Operates machinery as needed to organize, prepare, transport, load and unload materials to and from work areas.
  • Schedules carriers for pick-ups and deliveries by communicating with dispatchers and drivers.
  • Maintains accurate and timely shipping and receiving records.
  • Verifies documents provided by logistics are complete and accurate.
  • Additional responsibilities as identified by Arcadia leadership team.

 You Bring:

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • 4+ or more years of related experience.
  • Ability to obtain Dangerous Goods certification
  • Previous material handling experience in a GMP biotech/pharmaceutical/food environment preferred.
