Your Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure timely and right‑first‑time customs clearance of inbound shipments; proactively communicate delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
  • Perform accurate and timely SAP Goods Receipt postings to support customer satisfaction and material availability.
  • Ensure all Customs Brokers and Transport Service Providers operate safely and comply with dsm-firmenich Quality, Compliance, and Business standards.
  • Review, develop, monitor, and enforce robust Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with logistics partners. Engage internal and external stakeholders to align on operational priorities and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain logistics reports, KPIs, and documentation, including SOPs, ensuring effective implementation and adherence. Initiate and manage continuous improvement projects related to service, efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Process vendor commercial invoices (Accounts Payable) in a timely manner and perform monthly/quarterly reconciliations with service providers.

You Bring

 

  • 2–4 years’ experience in international or cross‑border logistics.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Professional certifications in Dangerous Goods regulations (IATA, IMDG) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics processes and Incoterms.
  • Experience with Letter of Credit transactions is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Shipping & Transportation module preferred.
