Location: Belvidere, NJ
12- Hour Rotating Shifts - 7AM-7PM and 7PM -7AM
As a Senior Technician in our Utilities department, you’ll be responsible for generation and distribution of steam, cooling water, chilled water, compressed air, and electricity, and provide wastewater treatment and potable water treatment services to the Belvidere site (5 manufacturing plants).

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for producing quality utilities for the site.
- Operates a combined cycle cogeneration plant, air compressors, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Operates both a process potable water plant and a wastewater treatment plant according to the New Jersey Clean Water Act.
- Operates and troubleshoots plant equipment and related systems in accordance with Key Performance Measure, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and divisional goals.

You Bring:
- High School diploma required.
- A New Jersey (NJ) Blue Seal Engineer’s license and water treatment/waste treatment license
- Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift, 7AM-7PM and 7PM -7AM
- Knowledge and understanding of personal/process control computers, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), environmental, regulatory and safety compliance.
- Minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience required in power and steam generation or equivalent
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job including but not limited to maintenance of process equipment in shop floor situations.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly $27.50 - $28.00.
