Senior Scientist, Detergent, Growth Office, Perfumery & Beauty

Job title - Senior Scientist, Detergent, Growth Office, Perfumery & Beauty (79823)

Location – Satigny, Geneva, Switzerland  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and support laundry innovation projects in alignment with the Home Strategic Segment Unit’s strategic objectives.
  • Drive the deployment of innovation projects, including preparation and delivery of client briefings.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for launched products across regional and global client portfolios.
  • Manage and coordinate laboratory technicians to ensure efficient and highquality execution of laboratory activities.
  • Support intellectual property (IP)–related processes and activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, including Science & Research, Marketing, Sales, and Technical Development.
  • Engage in handson technical collaboration directly with clients to support product development and implementation.

You Bring:

  • A university degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a related field, complemented by substantial professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry, particularly in GCMS and LCMS/LCMSMS techniques, and/or expertise in formulation development and characterization (e.g., rheology).
  • Indepth understanding of surfactantbased formulations, ideally with experience in laundry product development.
  • Experience with data management tools or methodologies is an advantage.
  • A collaborative mindset combined with creativity, autonomy, openness, initiative, and strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in French is an asset.
