We are looking for a Senior Quality manager overseeing QC and QA in our enzymes production plant in Seclin. In this role, you will manage 22 colleagues and you will be a member of the executive committee.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Strategic Quality Roadmap & Culture: Defining and implementing the site strategic Quality Plan. Promoting a strong Quality Culture across the organization. Driving customer satisfaction and hold teams and stakeholders accountable for quality results.
  • Team Leadership & Development: You will train, mentor, and guide the quality team members. Fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Continuous Improvement & Change Management: Leading initiatives to improve product quality and operational efficiency. Supporting the Management of Change (MoC) process across the site. Impact the strategic KPI’s (Complaints, Contamination, First Time Right) by leading with a PDCA approach.
  • Budget Management & Project Support: You will plan and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for Quality Control and Assurance. You take the responsibility to sign off on quality aspects of site-wide projects.
  • Quality Leadership & Representation: You act as a Quality role model and mentor across the organization. This includes leading regional or global quality projects as assigned by leadership.

You bring

For this role we look for the personality behind the resume. The priority of the characteristics that need to be demonstrable:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and mentor quality teams, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
  • Strong Business Acumen and able to plan and adhere to budgets.
  • Project management with Strong Continuous Improvement Capabilities.
  • Absolute Customer Focus.
  • Decisive and Pragmatic with proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong experience with a systematic approach to Quality Management Systems.
  • Substantial data analysis skills and able to define and communication conclusions found.
  • Education / Experience: Minimum Bachelor of science in food science, food engineering, and / or chemistry, quality management with 10+ years of experience in a managerial role in applicable industry e.g., Food, Chemical, Pharma, 10+ years of experience in people leadership, leading diverse and cross-functional teams, experience in driving change in quality culture.
  • Proficient in the local language to the plant of responsibility (French) and fluency in English required.
