The primary mission of Scent Unit Strategic Insights Director, Global is to develop, lead and align Consumer Insights,  sensory and neuroscience methods for Home Scent/Air Care globally. The secondary mission is to expand and roll out Strategic Consumer Understanding for Fine Fragrance, working closely with CS and  SCU Directors. Drive the right fundamental consumer centric framework from innovation to commercialization , working closely with Marketing on Activation Programs. As part of the Marketing Sciences, he/she will work in close cooperation Scent Unit Marketing, Innovation and HC/FF Commercial teams.

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Generate and provide relevant innovation consumers, sensory and neuroscience models to support the consumer centric model with the ultimate goal to deliver differentiated and unique fine fragrance solutions that will resonate with clients & consumers bringing added value to FF teams and the company.
  • Continues scope & measure of emotional, wellness and new benefits of a fragrance for an everchanging consumer to support innovation initiatives to ensure relevancy and route to market
  • Review and adjust when necessary testing protocols (fundamentals, on skin in use etc) for Innovation and Go to Market projects to ensure we use the top in class validation models and close to consumer reality to win and replicate clients test.
  • Work with Innovation teams through the innovation process to provide guidance on consumer centric approach, ensure the use of right CI & sensory methods and storytelling to sell the product to internal & external stakeholders.
  • Creation of new models to bring newness, benefit models, neuroscience and market growth eliminating cannibalization among fragrance creation.

You bring

 

  • Bachelor’s, preferably Master’s in Food Science, Cognitive Science, Stats or Bus Admin
  • Experience in Product Testing, Statistical Analysis
  • Having worked for a Research Agency, A fragrance House or 
  • At least 5-7 years Experience
  • Love for Fragrance
