As Senior Manager HR Nordics, you will be responsible for creating a consistent "One dsm-firmenich" employee experience at every moment that matters, bringing global business unit strategies, Group HR plans, and dsm-firmenich Values & Behaviors to life across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Your key responsibilities
• Champion and deploy the "One dsm-firmenich" HR strategy across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR team, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices across the cluster.
• Drive and implement local and cross-country HR initiatives, supporting transformation, growth, and business development.
• Oversee efficient, aligned, and lean HR processes, maintaining close support to business needs.
• Manage labor relations, unions, and works councils, ensuring legal and social compliance with Nordic employment laws and company standards.
• Coordinate recruitment, talent pipeline development, and succession planning for key roles, adapting approaches to local market conditions.
• Foster a culture of empowerment, inclusion, and high performance, promoting ongoing workforce development and employee engagement.
• Advise and support business leaders and employees on HR matters, including employee relations, policies, and strategic HR projects.
• Collaborate with country leaders and the European Regional Rewards Lead to ensure competitive and aligned compensation and benefits.
• Lead change management and stakeholder engagement for new initiatives, ensuring successful adoption across the cluster.
• Oversee staff administration and support annual HR budgeting for the Nordic countries.
• Report to VP Regional HR Europe and participate in the European Regional HR Leadership Team

You bring
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business Administration, Law, Social Sciences, plus professional HR training.
• 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including strategic partnership in international settings, ideally with a proven record of success in a manufacturing environment.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with outstanding stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and change management skills at all levels.
• Deep understanding of employer practices, labor laws, and legal/social compliance requirements in the Nordic region.
• Organizational and cultural awareness/sensitivity, with proven ability to operate effectively in the Nordics.
• Fluency in English is required, along with full proficiency in Danish—or alternatively, Norwegian.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with leadership teams and negotiate with unions.
• Ownership, accountability, and initiative in decision-making, aligned with company values.
• Commitment to teamwork, inclusivity, and fostering a unified, cross-country team dynamic.
• Curiosity, creativity, and a drive for innovation and positive change in a multicultural environment.
