The ServiceNow Delivery & Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the ServiceNow platform and associated projects, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and aligned to business priorities. This role combines platform delivery ownership, project/program management, and strong financial governance, acting as the single point of accountability for ServiceNow demand, execution, vendor performance, and value realization.

Your Key responsibilities

 

 

1. ServiceNow Platform & Delivery Ownership

  • Own end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow initiatives across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SPM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC (as applicable).
  • Manage demand intake, backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and release execution.
  • Ensure stable, scalable, and secure platform delivery aligned with enterprise architecture and IT standards.
  • Coordinate design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare activities across internal teams and System Integrators.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and technical debt reduction across the platform.

2. Project & Program Management

  • Lead ServiceNow and related IT projects through the full lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.
  • Run governance forums, project reviews, and steering committees.
  • Manage RAID logs, change requests, and delivery recovery plans when required.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed delivery methodologies (Agile / Hybrid / SAFe as applicable).

3. Budget, Financial & Commercial Management (Core Responsibility)

  • Own ServiceNow platform and project budgets, including:
    • Annual budgeting and forecasting (Run vs Change)
    • Capex / Opex management
    • License, vendor, and delivery capacity costs
  • Track actuals vs forecast, identify variances, and proactively manage cost risks.
  • Build and maintain business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI/value realization metrics.
  • Manage vendor commercials:
    • SOW creation and governance
    • Milestone-based payments
    • Time & Materials cost controls
    • Invoice validation and spend optimization
  • Partner with Finance to ensure transparency, accrual accuracy, and audit readiness.

4. Governance, Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary interface between IT leadership, business stakeholders, process owners, and vendors.
  • Establish and run delivery and financial governance (Demand Boards, Portfolio Reviews, Release Governance).
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities, funding decisions, and delivery outcomes.
  • Manage third-party vendors and System Integrators to ensure contractual and delivery commitments are met.

5. Quality, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure delivery meets quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Enforce documentation, testing, release, and audit requirements.
  • Identify delivery, financial, an.d operational risks early and drive mitigation actions.

You bring

  • 12+ years experience in IT delivery, project/program management, or platform management.
  • Strong hands-on ServiceNow delivery experience, including multi-module implementations or enhancements.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, vendor spend, and financial governance.
  • Solid understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow architecture.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor or SIAM environments.
