Senior Manager, Nutrition Improvement HNC APAC
Job Title: Senior Manager, Nutrition Improvement HNC APAC
Location: Singapore
This individual will lead the acceleration of the Nutrition Improvement (NI) business in APAC—with a sharp focus on fortified staples (rice, flour, edible oils) and Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (MMS)—to deliver a step‑change in growth and contribute materially to NI’s ambitious financial and impact targets in the region.
At dsm-firmenich people are at the heart of the company. We are committed to equal employment opportunities and value diversity in the workplace.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Own the APAC NI growth plan and segment strategy for fortified staples and MMS; translate ambition into market‑back roadmaps and quarterly operating plans
- Drive hunter‑style business development: identify whitespace, fill in the funnel with cross APAC opportunities, and convert leads into sales
- Enable account managers with segment narrative, value propositions, pricing guidance, and objection handling tailored to APAC customers and procurement models
- Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, and Supply to set up a fit for purpose cost position for rice, flour, and MMS MRS
- Lead commercial offers and negotiations for high‑volume fortification programs; secure multi‑year agreements and frame conditions where appropriate
- Engage the APAC fortification ecosystem (ministries, UN agencies, NGOs, donors, standard bodies, development banks, industry associations) to catalyze demand and enable compliance—without reliance on innovative financing mechanisms
We Offer:
- Unique career paths across health, nutrition and beauty – explore what drives you and get the support to make it happen.
- A chance to impact millions of consumers every day – sustainability embedded in all we do.
- A science led company, cutting edge research and creativity everywhere – from biotech breakthroughs to sustainability game-changers, you’ll work on what’s next.
- Growth that keeps up with you – you join an industry leader that will develop your expertise and leadership.
- A culture that lifts you up – with collaborative teams, shared wins, and people who cheer each other on.
- A community where your voice matters – it is essential to serve our customers well.
You bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nutrition, food technology, business, or related field
- 5+ years in business development in nutrition, food ingredients, or adjacent B2B sectors within APAC; track record of landing and scaling multi‑market programs
- Ideally a strong understanding of the food fortification space in APAC
- Proven success operating in a global matrix and working cross‑functionally with Commercial, Operations, Technical, Finance, and Marketing
- Strong ecosystem network across APAC public‑private stakeholders (government, NGOs, UN agencies, implementers, and millers) is a plus
