A Senior Food Technologist will collaborate with cross-functional experts, sales, consumer insights, and flavorists to support customers in developing new food products while showcasing the dsm-firmenich flavor and ingredient portfolio.

Your key responsibilities
- Create scale-up ready formulations in a broad range of product categories, especially in the dietary & nutrition space.
- Independently manage customer briefs and champion required actions to deliver project objectives.
- Actively participate with commercial team to develop strategic relationships by leading working sessions and technical to technical customer interactions.
- Leverage and share technical knowledge internally with regard to flavors, ingredients, formulations and processes relating to protein-containing food products, while establishing and maintaining a network of working relationships within the technical community.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new ingredients on the market, and customer launches.

You bring
- B.S. in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in a product development role
- Proven formulation and troubleshooting expertise using dairy and plant based proteins.
- Familiarity running pilot plant equipment with scale up processes in mind.
- Excellent record keeping and project management skills.
- Customer-facing presentation skills .
