Senior Expert GES PSC Ops

Location: Hyderabad

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our Global Expertise Services (GES) – PSC (Plan, Source, and Create) team as a Senior Expert in Global Logistics Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing transportation and distribution processes across a high-volume, global logistics network.

You will play a key role in shaping and executing the global transportation strategy, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and service reliability across all regions. The network you will support manages over 5 million pallet movements annually, requiring a strong focus on continuous improvement, digital enablement, and process harmonization.

Your expertise will drive innovation in logistics operations, enhance collaboration with regional and cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with dsm-firmenich’s broader supply chain and sustainability goals. You will also act as a key partner to business units, leveraging data insights and best practices to deliver measurable performance improvements and operational resilience.

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Experience in P2P processes being purchasing and/or accounts payables (>5 years)
  • Direct Sourcing knowledge/experience in managing pricelist campaigns.
  • Commercial education and drive
  • Experience with customer facing roles (>2 years)
  • Experience in co-operation with different types of organization and different hierarchy levels (>2 years)
  • Passion for customer experience, operational excellence, and continuous development
  • Proven track record in working with Direct Procurement
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Prepare RFx (price lists/outline agreement proposals) for quarterly / half-yearly  / yearly campaign for the Sourcing Manager.
  • Validate, request, and maintain procurement conditions, including PIRs, contracts, and source lists.
  • Support audit requests for internal compliance and external certifications.
  • Ensure operational activities meet SLA targets and quality standards.
  • Prepare reporting template on volume consumption per supplier for quarterly volume review with supplier.
  • Work with Planning teams to ensure seamless integration of Outline Agreements with production planning and scheduling.
  • Prepare quarterly volume validation with suppliers.
