The Senior Engineer Facilities improve the reliability of the plant with regard to equipment, procedures and working methods by analyzing the performance of the plant and consequently developing a preventive and predictive maintenance plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve the reliability of the plant with regard to equipment, procedures and working methods by analyzing the performance of the plant and consequently developing a preventive and predictive maintenance plan.
- Translate Plant Management objectives into a Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Plan (PPM), in cooperation with maintenance management. Continuously develop and optimize the PPM plan, achieving maximum availability of the plant against the lowest costs.
- Analyze the plant and determine the criticality of installed equipment. For critical equipment, perform Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA), equipment specific for high critical, generic for medium critical.
- Translate PPM plan into specific preventive maintenance activities and procedures. dentify and prioritize performance issues and cost drivers related to equipment reliability by evaluating the performance of the plant in terms of OEE, using statistical methods, RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis).
- Propose and initiate technical solutions to eliminate actual and potential performance issues and discuss with stakeholders (maintenance, production, business, etc.). Ensure handover to appropriate work process.
- Safeguard the availability of critical and other spare parts for the plant.
- Increase levels of user knowledge and ownership by supporting training to production and maintenance personnel.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with site management of change procedure for Improve Plant proposals that have been allocated to him/her.
- Acts in such a way that safety awareness & accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks

You Bring:
- Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or other relevant Engineering discipline with strong hands-on experience.
- 5-8 yrs experience in an industrial setting, medical device industry experience preffered
- Good communication and social skills • Knowledge of production processes and specific requirements
- Detailed knowledge of relevant Manufacturing Excellence work processes such as Improve Equipment Reliability and Maintenance.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant practices such as FMEA, RCA, etc.
- Detailed knowledge of applicable SHE & Manufacturing requirements.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
