Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job title –  Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician 

Location – Tuas, Singapore 

 

Reporting to the department owner, you will assist in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Engineering Department to ensure all equipment is in good condition in compliance with the highest safety and quality standards. 

 

Your key responsibilities 

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery integrating electrical and mechanical systems.  

  • Troubleshoot issues in electrical and mechanical components.  

  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.  

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.  

  • Follow all safety policies/procedures, GMPs, and maintains an orderly and clean work area, Follow 5S standards.

  • Compliance with Group Quality Operational Requirements, Group SHE Requirements, Quality Essentials, and Life Saving Rules (LSR).

  • Know how about Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation and Boiler. Execute equipment troubleshooting and repair of static and rotating equipment’s.

  • Leadership: Act as the backup for the respective shift. Demonstrate ability to arrange daily maintenance schedule and coordinating of resources. Coordinate with cross-functional teams as required to ensure smooth operations and maintenance. Demonstrate the ability to execute changes on the system, if needed (safety, quality rules, equipment, 5S).

You bring 

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent.  

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production.  

  • Good attitude and willingness to learn.  

  • Effective verbal and written communication will be an advantage.

  • Must be physically fit for heavy lifting of equipment around 25KG.

  • This position will be on shift from 4pm - 1am, Monday to Friday. Additional standby weekend support if required.
