Senior Account Manager

As Senior Account Manager for Regional Consumer Brands in the Perfumery and Beauty Department, you will drive strategic partnerships with a key global client, shaping commercial strategy and leading cross-functional projects to unlock growth. You’ll manage a dynamic portfolio in a fast-paced market, anticipate client needs, and translate insights into new business opportunities. With your passion for fragrance and strong financial acumen, you’ll ensure excellence in service and performance while enjoying clear career development in a vibrant industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture a successful working relationship with one of our key global clients in the Perfumery sector, ensuring long-term collaboration and trust.
  • Define clear account objectives, craft a robust commercial strategy, and implement it effectively through a tailored account plan.
  • Identify critical business needs to secure wins and provide strategic input to management, helping shape the direction of the growth office.
  • Lead strategic discussions and negotiations, including core list and partnership agreements, to strengthen client engagement and drive mutual value.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional projects with internal teams and stakeholders, while building a strong management network within the client organization.
  • Drive business growth through proactive client engagement, identifying market opportunities, managing the product lifecycle with operational teams, and overseeing account performance including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability tracking.

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration, economics, marketing, science, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in sales within a multinational environment, ideally with a background from a fragrance house.
  • Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong financial acumen, including expertise in pricing, sales and profitability analysis, expense management, and client account oversight.
  • Genuine passion for fragrance, with a deep appreciation for the industry and its creative impact.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to client engagement and business development.
