The elevator pitch of the role

As a Senior Account Manager in our Taste Division, you’ll play a key role in shaping long-term partnerships with strategic customers in China. You’ll work at the intersection of commercial strategy, customer intimacy, and innovation—bringing global expertise together with local market insight. This is a great opportunity to own key accounts, influence growth, and make a real impact across savory, sweet, and beverage categories.

Your key responsibilities

• You’ll own and develop strategic key accounts, building strong, long-term partnerships with local customers
• You’ll lead and execute China key account plans aligned with global, regional, and local strategies
• You’ll work closely with marketing, technical, supply chain, quality, and customer care teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
• You’ll identify commercial opportunities, manage pricing and margins, and deliver sales and profit targets
• You’ll stay close to the market—tracking competitors, trends, pricing, and new business opportunities
• You’ll support business development by onboarding new customers aligned with our growth strategy

You bring

• Minimum 7 years of solid experience as a sales or key account manager within the flavor or food-related industry
• Hands-on experience managing local key accounts and building long-term customer partnerships
• Strong commercial and market understanding of savory, sweet, and beverage applications
• Background in an international company or a leading local flavor house (e.g. Huabao, Apple, etc.)
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional and virtual teams
• A customer-centric, results-driven mindset with high integrity, ownership, and accountability
