As a Senior Account Manager for one of our biggest global FMCG clients, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic growth for the Homecare business in China. You will lead the development and execution of a growth account plan that aligns with our global Homecare strategy, shaping go-to-market pathways and strengthening long-term client relationships.
In this role, you will collaborate with Fragrance Developlment, Perfumers, Marketing, Consumer Research, Technical and Sensory teams to deliver innovative, consumer-centric fragrance solutions that create impact for our customer and unlock new opportunities for growth.
Your key responsibilities
- Assume lead role for all Homecare activities in China for this key customer
- Develop & implement strategic growth plan, sales forecasts, and budget for the account
- P&L management and reporting taking corrective actions when necessary to deliver KPIs
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders
- Defend existing business and proactively generate new business growth opportunities
- Line management and coaching of Sales Coordinator

You bring
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in account management role preferably within fragrance or FMCG industry
- Ability to energize and lead a cross-functional team around a project
- Ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations
- Track record of business growth and ability to identify and create new business opportunities
- Understanding of FMCG brands, market & consumer dynamics in China
- Knowledge of consumer research testing methodologies is advantageous
- Willingness to travel across China
