dsm-firmenich is seeking a proactive and result-driven Sales Account Coordinator to support our growing sales initiatives. This role will give you the opportunity to work with diverse teams, shape the way we operate, and contribute to the success of Taste, Texture & Health (TTH) in North America.

 

Key Responsibilities:

--Sales Operation & Forecasting Support

  • Manage sample and documentation requests, including submission and follow-through using internal and external systems (e.g., TraceGains).
  • Support Account Managers in updating sales forecasts and collaborating with Demand Planning to analyze and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor, track, and follow up on backorders; support Customer Experience and Account Managers with timely follow-ups and resolutions, incorporating Demand Planning input as needed.

--CRM, Data & Platform Management

  • Ensure CRM data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness to maintain strong CRM hygiene.
  • Maintain and support sales platforms, portals, and master data, including new customer setup and ongoing data maintenance.
  • Coordinate credit line reviews and manage rebate processes in collaboration with Finance and other stakeholders.

--Reporting & Performance Management

  • Assist Sales Directors in preparing monthly sales and performance reporting for regional and global leadership reviews (e.g., forecast vs. actual, CRM funnel analysis, key initiatives, etc.).
  • Support Account Managers in preparing monthly performance reports for review with Sales Directors.

--Customer & Internal Support

  • Assist Account Managers with preparation of customer communications (e.g., product updates, tariff surcharges), ensuring alignment and readiness prior to Account Manager outreach.
  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end customer visits, including logistics such as calendar invites, meeting room reservations, and any on-site coordination.

--Training & Process Improvement

  • Train and onboard new TTH team members on sales tools, systems, and standard processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency; recommend and support implementation of improvements.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field; a degree in Food Science is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, sales support, or customer service, ideally within the Food & Beverage sector at a multinational company.
  • Proven expertise with CRM and SAP systems, complemented by advanced Excel skills, to efficiently manage data gathering, reporting, and process optimization.
  • A highly motivated self-starter with superior prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Assertive, with a knack for providing actionable insights and practical solutions to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring consistent satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, facilitating effective communication and relationship-building with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and foster collaboration.

 

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00.
