Regional Associate Marketing Manager

Your key responsibilities

Regional marketing manager plays a crucial role in expanding product recognition and creating new business opportunities by leveraging established relationships. They often develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge to assist B2B customers with product selection and campaign information. Additionally, they are responsible for executing regional events and analyzing program effectiveness. Comfort and competency with biomaterial products, digital platforms and analytical methods is essential for regional marketing specialists. There is also a significant need for soft skills like empathy and effective communication.

  • Develop and execute local marketing programs to generate new leads and promote conversion of leads to sales. Identify local people of interest for sales targeting. 
  • Articulate the dsm-firmenich biomaterial value proposition in marketing collateral
  • Manage Intranet and Internet web content and functionality enhancements.
  • Maintain and update local area of social networking sites – WeChat and requests funneled from LinkedIn. Work with Global Marketing team to generate content applicable for regional needs and educate local team on available channels to circulate messaging.
  • Coordinate content delivery with Agency Partner and plan campaign execution and KPIs with the agency and Global Marketing.
  • Improve CRM data integrity by creating a user guide and including quick reference sheets. Support maintenance of global marketing contact database in accordance with internal use of Marketing Automation and CRM tools
  • Increase SEO through Wechat management and use of keywords identified with the help of existing global marketing initiatives and campaign content.
  • Leverage CRM for developing email lists for event campaigns and tracking sales opportunities.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations for product launches augmenting product promotion.
  • Perform ROI analysis to determine profitability of product lines.
  • Design, produce and traffic marketing materials including brochures, collateral, PowerPoint presentations, sales literature, and promotional items.
  • Work extensively within our CRM system, including conducting weekly reporting of sales pipeline and various other sales and lead metrics.
  • Align with Global in the general direction of all digital marketing materials.  Provide translation to local language for use in region.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on marketing experience, preferably with B2B.
  • Experience working with biomaterials, polymers, natural materials, or medicalgrade materials used in device or drugdelivery applications.
  • Strong learning agility, superior organizational skills and growth mindset with high intellectual curiosity.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools like Marketing Automation (Marketo) and social media
  • Proven adept with stakeholder management and ability to maintain effective partner relations at project/program level. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Track record of customer engagement, supporting commercial partnerships
  • Advanced project management skills
  • English language fluently spoken and written
  • Excellent social and communication skills with proven professional maturity, have gravitas to interact with and connect with senior level leaders and customers at all levels, strong relationship management skills
  • Masterful in project management techniques, productive, delivers results, is perseverant, well organized and communicates convincingly; able to prioritize and focus
  • Credible authority in his/her field of expertise able to creatively synthesize information into valuable trends and influence internal and external stakeholders.
