Job title –  Quality Assurance Coordinator, Animal Nutrition

Location – Shizuoka, Japan

To assist the company to accomplish its objectives by completing quality control tasks efficiently. This encompasses ensuring the (customer, external and internal) quality and contractual requirements are met which results in good quality product delivered to our customer. It also involves the undertaking of quality improvement projects when the potential for improvement is identified.

Responsible for day to day quality control, sampling matrix and sample collection, retention samples, sample submission/sending for testing, homogeneity, carryover and stability studies, test report follow up and other related tasks. Carrying out Internal Auditing and inspections as per the schedule. Assisting with maintaining all relevant documentation and the documentation management system on site linked to the compliance systems (SHE & Q).

Your key responsibilities

• SHE: Follow safe work practices / rules and practice safe behaviour always, with regard to own and others’ safety. Report all incidents and injuries promptly and accurately to management. Fully understand the site Emergency and Evacuation Policies and Procedures. 安全な作業手順/規則を遵守し、常に自分と他者の安全を考慮した安全な行動を実践する。すべての事故や怪我を速やかに正確にマネージメントに報告する。現場の緊急時対応と避難に関するポリシーと手順を完全に理解する。
• Quality assurance: Follow the Quality behaviors and adhere to the feed safety standards and requirements on site. Sample Collection and Coordination: i.e.  Collection of premix samples, sample checking, entry of sample data into the register and logging system.  Entering and maintaining results as up to date and checking and follow up of any unexpected results. • Assist in data management and analysis and prepare data analysis to support investigations. Including mock recalls and tracebacks. Carry out internal auditing and GMP inspection together with the team. Assist in Reviewing, maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and forms as required to maintain the Quality system. • Execute the environmental monitoring program as required and review the analytical results, highlighting deviations where appropriate Retention Coordination: Management of all raw material and finished product retention samples: Secure storage samples, retrieving retention samples for QA and/or Technical if required and packing away after the fact. • Communication and documentation: Read, understand and execute work instructions and SOP’s relevant to the role and activities Participate in department, team and site meetings, dialogs and discussion and ensure site quality behaviors have a voice. コミュニケーションと文書化: 役割と活動に関連する作業指示書とSOPを読み、理解し、実行する。部門、チーム、サイトの会議、対話、議論に参加し、サイトの品質行動が適切に反映されるようにする。

You bring

• Hold a suitable tertiary qualification. Human or Feed nutrition component and/or food science preferred. 適切な高等教育資格を保有すること。人間栄養学または飼料栄養学の分野と/または食品科学の知識が望ましい。
• 2-6 years’ experience in food / feed / pharma industry QA/QC/regulatory areas preferred. 食品/飼料/医薬品業界における品質保証（QA）/品質管理（QC）/RA関連分野での2～6年の経験が望ましい。
• Knowledge of / practical experience with Quality Assurance and GMP preferred. 品質保証（QA）およびGMPに関する知識または実務経験が望ましい。
• Microsoft Office skills, experience with SAP preferred. Microsoft Officeのスキルが良好であること、SAPの経験が望ましい。
• Good communicator and sensitive to various perspectives of stakeholders. ステークホルダーの多様な視点に敏感で、良好なコミュニケーション能力を有する。
