Qc Lab Technician

QC Lab Technician, MG
Kocaeli, Gebze

As a QC Lab Technician in the Perfumery & Beauty division, you will support laboratory quality control activities for fragrance compounds and raw materials produced at our Kocaeli – Gebze site. You will ensure all testing is performed accurately, safely, and in compliance with GMP and internal quality standards, contributing to operational excellence at dsm-firmenich.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality control analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished fragrance compounds according to approved procedures
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory equipment in line with testing requirements
  • Review, verify, and accurately document test results in laboratory systems in compliance with GMP and data integrity standards
  • Identify and report quality deviations, including Out of Specification (OOS) results, and perform first-level re-tests when required
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain assigned laboratory instruments (e.g., GC and basic analytical equipment) following safety and quality guidelines
  • Support investigations by analyzing special samples and collaborating with Production and Quality teams to resolve issues

You Bring

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related scientific field
  • Minimum 1–2 years of laboratory or quality control experience (preferably in fragrances, cosmetics, chemicals, or FMCG sectors)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures precisely and maintain accurate documentation
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork
  • Integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement
