As a QC Lab Technician in the Perfumery & Beauty division, you will support laboratory quality control activities for fragrance compounds and raw materials produced at our Kocaeli – Gebze site. You will ensure all testing is performed accurately, safely, and in compliance with GMP and internal quality standards, contributing to operational excellence at dsm-firmenich.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality control analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished fragrance compounds according to approved procedures
- Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory equipment in line with testing requirements
- Review, verify, and accurately document test results in laboratory systems in compliance with GMP and data integrity standards
- Identify and report quality deviations, including Out of Specification (OOS) results, and perform first-level re-tests when required
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain assigned laboratory instruments (e.g., GC and basic analytical equipment) following safety and quality guidelines
- Support investigations by analyzing special samples and collaborating with Production and Quality teams to resolve issues

You Bring
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related scientific field
- Minimum 1–2 years of laboratory or quality control experience (preferably in fragrances, cosmetics, chemicals, or FMCG sectors)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures precisely and maintain accurate documentation
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork
- Integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement
