As a Production Supervisor, you will supervise and lead production teams in line with the Wisconsin site and local/state regulatory SHE requirements, as well as quality and food safety standards. You will ensure fulfillment of the weekly production schedules in a cost-efficient manner. The Production Supervisor provides motivation, guidance and leadership to production operators to process, formulate and package products. You will support employee development and engagement through team coaching.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production of Lipase Enzymes in the defined manufacturing area.
- Supervises production team to create intermediate and finished goods ensuring compliance to SOP’s, cGMP’s, and all SHE requirements.
- Manage a team of 12-15 direct report driving daily operations in a safe manner by understanding all ongoing activities (including maintenance, projects, etc.)
- Determine priorities, assign tasks and instruct teams about actions to be taken, including start-up and stoppage of the process or part thereof.
- Responsible for timely and accurate communication towards management, shopfloor and other stakeholders including the kosher authority.
- Conduct Employee Performance Reviews and support/coach the personal development of direct reports. Be accountable for the engagement of team members.
- Maintains Training Documentation for Process Operators, in the document control system and elsewhere as required.
- Responsible to ensure compliance of all DSM policies and external requirements in terms of SHE, quality, food safety and production.
- Responsible for leading change initiatives on the shopfloor and driving continuous improvement.

You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent AND 5 years of site production leadership experience OR
- 2-year degree AND 3 years in a production leadership role OR
- 4-year degree AND 2 years in a production leadership role.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills in influencing peers and reports to perform in an exemplary manner.
- Ability to generate and coordinate continuous improvement and work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in basic IT tools and ERP (e.g. Excel/SAP).
- Thorough understanding of all SHE requirements at the site with a proven record of support for them and the coaching of peers.
- Experience leading a team from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
