You will play a vital role in safeguarding global food safety as a Production Scientist, Microbiology with Romer Labs. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for manufacturing and assembling key components and final products for strip, plate, and phage production, ensuring full compliance with ISO and cGMP standards. Your key responsibilities

Manufacture liquid and dry components required for kits
Perform quality control checks on all aspects of manufacturing
Update relevant SOP’s as needed. Fill out documents under ISO 9001 guidelines
Run key pieces of manufacturing equipment as needed
Work with R&D to successfully transfer new products from development to production

You bring

Bachelor’s degree in scientific field
Experience in immunology-type production; lateral flow devices; antibody-based production; microbiology
Mechanical skills a plus
Weights and measures experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $57,400-$70,000.

In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
