12-hour Rotating Shifts

 

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating the manufacturing facility to produce quality finished products and chemical intermediates in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs),  and safety/regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operates and monitors the manufacturing facility.  Includes monitoring and adjusting the plant via computer control systems as well as making outside rounds, readings, and making adjustments, transfers, etc. in the field.
  • Independently starts up and shuts down the process unit as needed.
  • Loads raw materials into process areas – C10, TPP, catalyst.
  • Catches and analyzes process samples.
  • Provides troubleshooting expertise and assists in resolving process upsets.
  • Inspects equipment and identifies repairs needed.  Prepares equipment for maintenance including clearing and LOTOTO of equipment
  • Conducts risk assessments and initiates work permits to ensure safe work conditions for those performing work.
  • Other duties assigned by Freeport leadership.

 You Bring:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing production setting.
