Production Operator, Reel-to-Reel

Newark, DE

On Site (M-F 7:30am-4pm)

 

As a Production Operator, Reel-to-Reel you will maintain and operate Reel-to-Reel (RTR) web handling equipment, perform in-process inspections, maintain batch records and SOPs, conduct ERP transactions, and manufacture liquid and dried sub-components required for diagnostic kit production.

This position supports our Romer Labs division, a global leader in innovative diagnostic solutions for food and feed safety. With a focus on mycotoxins, food allergens, GMOs, and microbial contaminants. Making the World's Food Safer® romerlabs.com  

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Reel-to-Reel web handling equipment
  • Follow production schedules to deliver materials for downstream processes
  • Maintain batch records, execute SOPs, and use SAP to track work order execution
  • Manufacture liquid and dried sub-components for diagnostic
  • Participate in inventory checks, order supplies, cross-train, and troubleshoot to improve processes and resolve product issues

You bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in operating and maintaining machinery preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Ability to perform in-process inspections on raw materials and semi-finished goods
  • Proficiency in using SAP for inventory tracking and work order execution preferred
