Production Manager
Job title - Production Manager (78601)
Location – La Plaine, Geneva, Switzerland
As a member of the production and logistic department, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated leader, team-oriented personality with confirmed experience in production to drive performance and develop 50 talents across several operational production activities in a complex industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to deliver products on time, in quality and quantity according to the highest HSE standards.
- Motivate and develop Production team. Ensure team alignment with company objectives and policies.
- Raise HSE standards: observe and provide feedback, make sure lessons are learnt from incidents, communicate on HSE, monitor performance. Develop the skills of the team in HSE.
- Establish and execute a long-term plan for the sector to develop team, processes, HSE and assets.
- Communicate efficiently: cascade information from the site management, share feedbacks from shop floor to management, circulate information between sectors and departments.
- Foster a culture of sustainable change through continuous improvements, monitor and improve the performance of the sector (work processes and production processes).
- Contribute to overall site efficiency: standardization, development of best practices, optimization of workflows, and alignment of communication.
- Drive for the success of new products and processes transfer with Research and Development team.
- Promote dsm-firmenich values and policies among the Production team.

You Bring:
- Master’s degree in chemical engineering or organic chemistry.
- A minimum of 5-year experience in managing batch or continuous production in fine chemicals, industrial chemicals, petrochemicals or pharmaceuticals industry.
- Proven track record in managing and developing teams.
- Strong, hands-on HSE skills.
- Outstanding leadership: exemplarity, emotional intelligence, integrity, passion, drive for results.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills demonstrated ability to influence and motivate with multiple stakeholders and collaborators at all levels.
- Experience on Factory of the future with Six Sigma / lean manufacturing / continuous improvement techniques is a plus.
