The Process Improvement Engineer drives the manufacturing performance of the TTH Sydney site and ensures all SHE and Quality requirements are met and adhered to. The role supports the manufacture of starter cultures that meet customer and technical requirements and leads manufacturing support for day-to-day operational trouble shooting and driving the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities
- Support the manufacturing process on site and lead deviation investigation and troubleshooting
- Lead RCAs relating to manufacturing processes and implement any resulting corrective and preventive actions
- Identify and drive opportunities for improving manufacturing processes and practices
- Manage the manufacturing impacts of technology transfer and scale-up projects
- Responsible to ensure approved qualification and validation documentation is used when commissioning new equipment
- Ensure any modifications and improvements or new plant and equipment comply with relevant Food Safety requirements

You bring

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Microbiology or Food Science
- Over 5 years of work experience with Food Manufacturing or a related field
- Understanding of MANUFEX and Lean Manufacturing
- Experience in process automation and PLC programming
