Join us as an Plant Electrician and play a key role in keeping our fully automated batching and packing equipment running at peak efficiency.
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role working on a rotating day shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Flexibility is key, as the role also requires occasional additional hours for breakdowns and one Saturday per month for scheduled maintenance.
Your key responsilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on fully automated batching and packing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and accurately assess risks related to assigned electrical tasks in line with company SHEQ standards.
- Manage electrical maintenance records using Ultimo, including job history, time tracking, and completion documentation.
- Coordinate work scheduling and parts procurement within the allocated maintenance budget to support efficient operations.
- Authorize and sign off RAPTW permits, ensuring safe handover of equipment back to production teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete all required paperwork to support traceability and regulatory compliance.

You bring
- Time-served Electrical tradesperson with an ONC or equivalent qualification, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in an automated industrial environment.
- Strong technical competence in electrical systems, with proven fault-finding skills and hands-on maintenance expertise.
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive attitude, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated reliability and initiative, with a self-starting approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Ultimo maintenance software is highly desirable, including job tracking and documentation.
- CompEX certification or familiarity with hazardous area electrical standards is a strong advantage.
