Planner, Capacity, Taste

Title: Planner, Capacity, Taste (1 year contract)
Location: Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium
 
Responsible for orchestrating flows within local supply chain in adherence with customer requests and standard leadtime agreements, by following production schedules which meet company punctuality/customer satisfaction targets while optimizing inventory and local supply chain’s efficiency.
 
Your key responsibilities
  • Order & Delivery Management: Ensure accurate PO entry based on capacity and raw material availability, monitor priorities, confirm customer orders until departure, and explore expedited options when needed to secure strong OTIF performance.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Review order status with production, quality, and shipping teams, acting as the single point of contact for Customer Experience and consolidating all relevant plant and supply chain information.
  • Inventory Management: Achieve quarterly inventory objectives by optimizing production scheduling, balancing stock levels with service and cost requirements.
  • Capacity Planning & Scenario Analysis: Translate demand signals into feasible production plans, monitor capacity utilization, and proactively run scenario analyses to anticipate bottlenecks and propose mitigation actions.
  • Exception & Risk Management: Identify supply risks (material shortages, equipment downtime, quality holds), lead cross-functional problem‑solving, and implement corrective plans to minimize impact on customer service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements across planning, scheduling, and order management, contributing to efficiency gains, system accuracy, and overall supply chain performance.
